In the race to be more connected, our fixation with our devices has left us distracted, detached and more disconnected than ever; from humanity, and even reality.
We have forgotten that the function of technology is to serve humans, and not the other way around.
Our mission is to humanise technology and its impact on our society. It’s our aim to bring
awareness to harmful practices, and advocate for safe, beneficial and mindful use of technology
for future generations to come. We want the telecommunications technology we use every day
to be safe for us and our children. We don’t think that is too much to ask.
We collaborate with partners and teams of experts, giving us access to credible and current
market data and scientific studies. We believe that information is the most powerful weapon in
an arsenal, and we are dedicated to serving as advocates of the truth.

OUR STORY
When the desire for profits eclipses the truth, it’s time to speak up.
We Are Not SAM was born when brave former telecom marketing insider, Rinat Strahlhofer, became aware of the extent of corruption within the industry to which she’d dedicated her time, energy and professional reputation. Deeply disillusioned by the lack of industry regulation and safety science, she decided that she could no longer sit on the sidelines and elected to take action. From then on, Rinat dedicated her time to blowing the whistle and uncovering the truths that have been actively buried by the skilled and excessively monied telecommunications industry across the world.
